Pratt visiting Texas A&M for season opener
The opening weekend of Texas high school football always seems to feature big time non-district contests. This weekend is no exception, even among the small school ranks.
For example, one of the best games in Class 3A will pit two schools from opposite ends of the Brazos Valley against one another, Navasota and Madisonville. It will also pit two of the top prospects in the class of 2009 against one another, running backs Dexter Pratt of Navasota and Chris Whaley of Madisonville.
In fact, for recruitniks everywhere, the matchup is overshadowing the game. For Pratt himself, it's a different story.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Pratt is gaining heavy interest from Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma State.
