Virginia Tech commitment Michael Via made the trip to Blacksburg last week for an unofficial visit. The 6-foot-6, 261-pounder was in attendance for the Hokies home opener against East Carolina.

Via enjoyed the game.

On the field, Via has helped his team to a 3-0 start including a win on Friday against Northwest Guilford 28-6.
