Inside the game: Moore Turnovers
Two games into the 2007 season the Trojans have just three takeaways on defense, and junior defensive end Kyle Moore has had a hand in each of them.
Against Nebraska he batted a ball at the line of scrimmage that was intercepted and then later picked one off himself, nearly returning it for a touchdown.
After the Trojans failed to take the ball away in the first half, two quick turnovers in the third quarter essentially put the game out of reach.
Nebraska quarterback Sam Keller found an open receiver to his left, but soon after the ball left his hands Moore got a hand up, tipped it and sent the ball high up into the air.
Cornerback Terrell Thomas took the gift pick, returned it 19 yards and setup a USC touchdown.
