Northwest Mississippi Community College is a much better team with Daniel Thomas in the lineup than when he isn't.

Head Coach Randy Pippin found that out earlier this season when Thomas missed a couple of games with a twisted ankle. The Rangers lost to Jones Junior College, the game that Thomas went out of in the first half 21-7. The next week it took the Rangers three overtimes to pull out the victory against Holmes on the road.

"It's great to have Daniel back healthy and a 100 percent," Pippin said. "He does so many things for our offense and lines up in a lot of different positions."
