Terps-Yellow Jackets preview
A week ago Maryland and Georgia Tech were saddled with two-game losing streaks and facing highly ranked opponents, the possibility of the 2007 season slipping away seemed very real for both teams.
After the Terps went on the road and beat Rutgers, 34-24, and Georgia Tech shut down previously powerful Clemson, 13-3, it became much easier to see each team's respective strengths and explain away some of the troubles.
This weekend's game is one of the ACC's most intriguing and the winner is going to emerge from the contest feeling good about its prospects in the short and long term. The loser will reach the halfway point of the season with little margin for error.
