CHESTER, (S.C.) - Rarely on the prep level do you get this type of showdown. Sure, Chester against Blythewood is a big-time match-up.

But the underlining theme of last Friday's contest took place on the perimeter as two of the Palmetto State's elite recruits did battle. Marquan Jones, a four-star wide receiver committed to Clemson, squared off against four-star cornerback Charles Whitlock, who is considering offers from Clemson, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.
