On a night when Auburn's defense shut down a powerful Arkansas rushing attack for most of the game, it was the offense that had to come through in the end.

The Tigers led for most of the night until a Razorback touchdown gave them a 7-6 lead with just 1:36 left to play.

Brad Lester started the rally with a 22-yard kick return to the AU 47-yard line and that's when quarterback Brandon Cox went to work. Cox completed 3-of-4 passes on the drive, the biggest when he hooked up with Robert Dunn for a 30-yard gain that set up AU with a first down on the UA 12-yard line.

"They brought the safeties down and brought some pressure," said Cox. "It was a quick-shoot route. Robert broke a tackle, made something happen and that was a big play of the drive."

Dunn caught the ball and cut upfield behind a big block by receiver Tim Hawthorne.

"Cox threw the ball before I made my cut," said Dunn. "I just got the ball, made the guy miss and got a great block."
