Trotter exceeding high expectations as senior

AuburnSports.com Birmingham (Ala.) Briarwood Christian coach Fred Yancey expected his senior quarterback to have a big season in 2007.
There was no reason not to; Barrett Trotter had thrown for more than 4,400 yards and 41 touchdowns as a sophomore and junior.
But seven games into the '07 campaign, Yancey admits, Trotter hasn't just met those expectations.
"He's really done more," Yancey said. "He's been even better than I thought."
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Trotter has led Briarwood Christian to a perfect 7-0 mark and a No. 1 ranking in Class 5A. He's already amassed nearly 2,000 yards of total offense and 26 touchdowns.
