Trojans 'man' up
It's easy to talk to USC after an overwhelming defensive performance and let the Trojans glow in the dissection of a nine-sack performance, in which they held Oregon State to 2.7 yards per play.
But finding the real emotion after a 24-3, cardinal-and-gold romp in the Coliseum, requires a trip to the visitors' locker room.
"It was not pretty," Beavers coach Mike Riley said. "It was hard to do anything. We have to regroup and get ready for next week."
Said right guard Roy Schuening: "(Quarterback) Sean (Canfield) is a good friend, and I'm obviously ashamed.
"To give up (nine) sacks is embarrassing. The first thing I said was, 'Sorry,' to Sean."
