Offensive tackles are always a high priority in recruiting and one to watch in 2009 is Darius McKeller out of Jonesboro (Ga.). McKeller has the size schools look for and he hopes to be highly recruited next year. We were out to watch him earlier this fall and you can see him first inside.

Class: 2009

Position: Offensive Tackle

Vitals: 6-5, 280-pounds

Favorites: Alabama, Duke, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Louisville and some others.

The Skinny: McKeller is a basketball player that just started playing football two years ago. He has a lean body at 280-0pounds and he moves well. His frame is something to look at immediately, but his feet will attract a lot of coaches next spring. McKeller is still raw and he needs to play with that killer instinct, but he has the tools to be a division one lineman in the class of 2009.

We had a camera on him earlier this fall and he turned in a solid performance. He shows some nice feet, good balance and the ability to drive his man off the ball.
