Big Uzzi was Athens for the blackout
A prospect that Georgia is still courting is versatile lineman Omoregie Uzzi. Uzzi could play on either side of the ball in college and he was visiting Georgia Saturday night. He was there for the blackout and he had a great time.
"It was a crazy game and everything went great," said Uzzi. "I got there a little later than usual, but the crowd was so loud and into the game from the very beginning."
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound lineman has been to plenty of games over the last few years at UGA, but he has never had an experience like this one.
"It was the most exciting crowd I have ever seen at Georgia. They are loud a lot there, but this one was crazy. It was just different than the other times I was there."
Did it have anything to do with the blackout?
"I think it did, but it was probably a combination of that, the way Georgia is playing and it being a big rivalry with Auburn," he said.
