Auburn's focus turns to Iron Bowl
Saturday night's second-half implosion at Georgia was a devastating loss for an Auburn team that had put together seven straight weeks of solid play.
But the Tigers don't have time to wallow in defeat, not with the annual Iron Bowl showdown on the horizon.
In fact, just minutes following AU's 45-20 loss to UGA, defensive end Antonio Coleman was already turning his thoughts to the Tide.
"(My focus) has already turned to Bama," said Coleman. "I have a short-term memory. It's going to be a big game coming up. We have a bye week, a week to rest up and get ready.
"I put (the UGA loss) behind me right now. I'm just ready to play Bama."
A big loss like Auburn suffered Saturday to one of its biggest rivals could be tough to recover from. But under head coach Tommy Tuberville, the Tigers have made a habit of bouncing back strong.
