When Michigan offered Yazoo City (Miss.) running back Desmond Johnson earlier this month, the three-star prospect was intrigued because of the tradition of the school and the opportunities they provided. This past weekend the 6-0, 185-pound Johnson got to see that school in-person.

The official visit to Michigan was Johnson's second of the process after having taken an official visit to Southern Miss this past weekend. The biggest difference he saw between the two schools was the weather.
