Wichita lineman elevated his game

JayhawkSlant.com When Tom Beason became head coach at Wichita North before last season, he heard a lot about his 300-pound defensive tackle Darius Parish. At the time Darius had already been on the radar for Jayhawk coaches, they offered Darius a scholarship the first day they were allowed to when Parish was just a junior.
"One of the knocks when I got here, was that Darius wasn't aggressive enough," Beason said, "They said a kid that size should put a beat down on everybody he comes across."
