Moore ready for spring
For senior defensive end Kyle Moore, 2008 got off to a rocky start when he tore his meniscus in the University of Southern California's drubbing of the Illinois Fighting Illini. But after two months of physical therapy, Moore is back on the field participating in winter workouts and says he's ready for spring practice to begin.
"I just got back on Monday from my torn meniscus that I got in the Rose Bowl," he said as he walked off the field for the first time in two months. "It didn't sit with me too well when I was over there on the sidelines watching my teammates working, but now I'm 100 percent.
"I'm getting back to full-speed, and everything that I do is full-speed now.
"It's good to be back."
