Gabe Ikard may have grown up following the Oklahoma Sooners, but the Kansas Jayhawk's 12-1 record and Orange Bowl win have caught the 6-foot-4, 237-pound defensive lineman's attention.

"We are Big 12 people in Oklahoma," Ikard said, "We followed their undefeated streak, and everybody said the North was weak but I thought they looked good. They are fast, athletic and big. When we watched them against Missouri, I actually had a bet that Kansas would win. I was proved wrong but they were still a great team and they obviously showed it in the Orange Bowl."
