Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes safety Justin Bright holds two offers heading into the spring evaluation period. However, they are from two vastly different schools. One of them, Florida State, regularly recruits the area while the other, Texas A&M, is a relative unknown to the junior.

On Tuesday night, however, the Aggies did a little bit more to help the 6-foot-2, 186 pound defender become familiar with the program. Bright received a phone call from new A&M head coach Mike Sherman.

"Yeah, coach Sherman called me this evening," he said. "Coach Van Malone said that he wanted to call me but he wanted coach Sherman to get a chance to call me and talk to me some.
