Thompson is one of three St. Thomas Aquinas alums in Auburn's 2008 class joining WR Philip Pierre-Louis as well as OL Jermaine Johnson . On his workout regime: "I just got done with track season. Our 4x400 team placed third in the state. Since then, though, I've been working out. I got a workout program from Auburn and I've been doing that and some running. It's pretty tough, but it's not anything I can't do."
What team(s) are you looking forward to playing and beating at Auburn? "Any team that's not wearing Orange and Blue."
Qualifying status? "I'm qualified. I got more than enough on my SAT and my grades are fine. I'm doing good. I know I'm going to qualify. I'm really excited about that. I'm ready to go."
