Four-star wide receiver talks Auburn
Of Auburn's 17 current commitments, three hail from the state of Georgia. The Tigers would certainly like to add to that number. At least, they hope they can.
One of Auburn's top wide receiver targets, 6-foot-2, 195-pound Jamal Patterson, is a standout at Henry County High School in McDonough. Patterson, who had nearly 1,000 yards receiving as a junior, picked up an early offer from the Tigers and has been a top priority since.
Patterson participated in a combine earlier this summer at Auburn. It was his first and only time at Auburn. He didn't get the full tour that day, but saw enough of the Plains to pique his interest. Patterson, ranked one of the top 50 receivers in the country by Rivals.com, said he's had his eye on the Tigers since.
