Poyer makes his call

BeaverBlitz.com As the 2009 recruiting season heats up for the Oregon State coaches, they took a moment to celebrate the good news this week when Jordan Poyer, the state of Oregon's Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year decided that he wanted to be a Beaver. Poyer has had a dream senior season, first leading Astoria to a State Championship, and now committing to his childhood favorite, Oregon State.
"This year has been so much more than I expected," said Poyer. "At the beginning of the season, no one would have said that Astoria would have won the State Championship or that I would be named Player of the Year for both offense and defense. Of course my teammates were all incredible. We all had a great run."
