After picking up an offer from Notre Dame last month, Spencer Boyd has remained in close contact with the Irish. The 5-foot-10, 159-pound athlete from Cape Coral, Fla., still rates Notre Dame among his leaders, but the Irish have company for Boyd's attention. However, with Charlie Weis keeping in contact with Boyd, a spring trip to South Bend appears likely.
