A move briefly considered

WVSports.com MORGANTOWN--Yes, Jarrett Brown considered a transfer, but only for a "minute." His revelation at Thursday's pre-spring press conference should catch no one off guard. With a cannon for an arm and a cool countenance, Brown turned down multiple offers to join lead recruiter Herb Hand at West Virginia. Then came Pat White. The history of No. 5 bespeaks itself, so, when Brown came a year later, he waited his chance . . . and waited and waited. Spot duty here and there, a fine game replacing White seconds before kickoff against Rutgers in 2006. But in '07, head coach Rich Rodriguez mentioned that the big guy would get his chance; at least by virtue of a first-half series. It never happened.
