Talent on display at Shrine Bowl combine
The Shrine Bowl holds four combines each spring to help showcase the top talents in the upcoming senior class in the state of North Carolina. One of the biggest of the combines is held every year at Butler High School in Matthews, N.C., a suburb of Charlotte. This year, despite four spring games going on throughout the state on the same day, there were some top talents working out for the Shrine Bowl coaches, hoping to earn that prestigious invite to the Shrine Bowl All-Star game.
