Terrell: Big Cat a big success
Pelham (Ala.) linebacker Nigel Terrell was one of more than 20 top prospects in Auburn Saturday for the Tigers' first-ever Big Cat Weekend.
The visitor list was stacked with many of the nation's top prep players and from Terrell's viewpoint, they all had a great time.
"I think Big Cat was a good idea," Terrell said. "They had top players from all over the country come here. That was impressive.
"I had a great time talking with some of the top recruits in the country. We had pie eating contests and cake eating contests. It was a fun day."
Three of the top recruits Terrell hung out with were Stamford (Con.) linebacker Khairi Fortt Temple (Tex.) running back Lache Seastrunk and Bessemer (Ala.) Jess Lanier linebacker LaDarius Owens.
