WASHINGTON, D.C.--Though Avery Williams says a college decision will come on Aug. 29 at the earliest, he wishes not to stretch the thing out, and certainly will be satisfied to call it a recruiting day when he makes his choice.

"Even if I got an offer from (national champ) Florida, I wouldn't make a quick decision because I would want to see what's out there. I'm going to go some place where I hope to be for four or five years. I want to be sure.
