Can Pressley make it a three-man race?
When it comes to the running back position, most of the talk has been about the upcoming battle between Jermaine Thomas and Ty Jones for starting honors. The forgotten man in the discussion is former junior college All-American Tavares Pressley.
Just two days after putting on pads for the first time last August, the highly touted running back tore the ACL in his left knee. As a result, Pressley missed the entire 2008 season and was held out of contact this past spring. But with the summer workouts now in full swing, the 6-foot-1, 215-pound back says he is finally back to where he needs to be health wise.
