Colvin closes in on a decision
When Aaron Colvin first started picking up BCS-level offers the humble defensive back couldn't help but wonder if he belonged at programs who consistently brought in such a high level of talent. The 6-foot, 180-pound prospect first was offered by Missouri, then Oklahoma, and finally Oklahoma State.
Particularly in the case of the Sooners Colvin says he wasn't sure how he would fit into their plans in the secondary but after a trip on Monday to check out Norman again it seems those questions have been addressed.
"It went well. Right when I got there I went to see coach Bobby Jack Wright and talked to him a little bit and then we went out and watched the defensive backs work out a little bit," Colvin said. "When we were talking he was just telling me to not listen to everyone else and make the decision of myself. He doesn't go off the hype he knows who he wants and knows who can play for him.
"He said if I come in and do what he thinks I can do, he has no doubt I can play. It was cool to hear that."
