Opportunity in two sports led Jolly to commit

Houston and head coach Kevin Sumlin picked up two of District 23-5A's most talented pass-catchers earlier this week. Tuesday, Sugar Land Kempner tight end Kenneth Bibbins pulled the trigger on a pledge to the Cougars. However, he was not the first Southwest Houston prospect to commit this week.

Monday, Missouri City Elkins wide receiver Jordan Jolly became commitment No. 13 in the class when he decided to call the Houston coaches and end the process. He said a number of factors led him to choose the Coogs.
