Watson lobbying for more time at DE


Just a week ago against Miami, Florida State was dissected through the air by quarterback Jacory Harris. The 'Canes' signal-caller had all day to stand in the pocket and throw the football. When the dust settled, the 'Noles managed just one sack. Worst, pressure from the front four was nonexistent when FSU lined up in its base defense.



Over the two practices following last Monday's loss, generating a pass rush was a major priority for the defensive coaching staff. On Saturday it showed. As a team, Florida State registered seven sacks and flushed a mobile Ryan Perrilloux out of the pocket several other times.
