P.T. Willis Column: Tough One To Take


Florida State's loss to South Florida on Saturday afternoon was tough to take for a lot of reasons. The 'Noles had just played their best game against BYU the week before and looked like they might have turned the corner away from mediocrity. They were playing at home in Doak Campbell Stadium before an excited crowd and there used to not be a stadium in the country that was tougher to go into and win. South Florida's starting quarterback (Matt Grothe) was hurt and talented but inexperienced B.J. Daniels made his first start against the hometown Seminoles.
