Sunday Evening Quick Hits
UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel held his customary teleconference Sunday Evening and it was obvious that he was feeling the sting of defeat and because he is doing so doesn't want to make a rash decisions while the emotions of the Cal game are still raw.
Neuheisel wouldn't comment on if there could be a quarterback chance and he was noncommittal on the amount of reps his quarterbacks would be getting this week.
The entire coaching staff was given the day off as it was their first one since training camp. Once they get together for film tomorrow things could clear up, but even that is a long shot. He wants to see how practices go this week and wants to turn the competition up a notch.
Getting back to the quarterback situation, Neuheisel did say the failure of the passing game wasn't entirely the fault of quarterback, Kevin Prince because the pass protection was very poor. That starts with the "Filthy Five" but doesn't end there.
