Mariner with new leader
Corona (Calif.) offensive guard Max Tuioti-Mariner unofficially visited USC for the first time Sunday.
They say you never have a second chance to make a good first impression, and with UCLA listed as Mariner's top college choice, the Trojans attempted to put their best foot forward with spring football in full swing.
Mariner, who measures in a 6-foot-3, 290-pounds, came to USC this weekend in hopes of being offered a scholarship by the Trojans.
Currently boasting written scholarship offers from Colorado, Ole Miss, BYU, Oregon, Oregon State, Hawaii and Arizona, the Trojans are still missing from the list.
