This and that
To try to get sharp for spring scheduled to start on April 2nd, the Bruins are doing seven on seven drills and BruinBlitz.com decided to show up and check things out. It is very apparent that the team is getting worked over by strength and conditioning coach, Mike Linn. One player replied, "the weight room is no joke." One thing that was apparent was this team seems to be close and they were having a lot of fun.
New defensive back coach Tim Hundley is getting the thumbs up from his players. Redshirt freshman Aaron Hester, said "Coach Hundley is great. He's a real teacher." By the way Hester looks good out there. He's still long and lean, but he is now weighing in the mid 190's and still has his speed. Hester's thoughts were echoed by other defensive backs. They also had good things to say about Carnell Lake. Again it appears to be a happy bunch of players.
Rahim Moore is now weighing 192 and looks great. He is turning into a leader out there and has the respect of his teammates. You can tell, he like the others are really putting in the work. If he continues on this pace look for him to start his sophomore season to take off.
