The UCLA, the No. 2 overall seed, blasted Stony Brook 9-1 in its College World Series opener on Friday to advance to the winner's bracket. On Sunday night against Arizona the Bruins couldn't get anything going on offense. Konner Wade allowed just five hits and no walks in a complete game shutout for the Wildcats.

FSU bounced back from an extra-innings loss to Arizona in its opener with a 12-2 win over Stony Brook in an elimination game. The Seminoles mashed 11 hits, six for extra bases to stay alive in the CWS.
