Florida State has completed its out of conference slate for the 2013 football season.
FSU will host the University of Idaho on Nov. 23, 2013, the week before the Seminoles' game at Florida. Idaho's official athletic web site listed the game on its schedule on Wednesday morning and Warchant.com has confirmed from the FSU side that the matchup will take place.
Florida State will play Nevada, Idaho, Florida and FCS school Wofford as its 2013 non-conference opponents. The Wofford game is scheduled for Aug. 31, Nevada is scheduled for Sept. 21 and Florida is slated for Nov. 30 in Gainesville.
Nevada, which had initially shown interest in canceling its game with FSU, is expected to remain on the schedule.
Idaho turned out to be a quick replacement for FSU, a void left when the Atlantic Coast Conference reverted from a planned nine-game conference slate beginning in 2013 to an eight-game schedule. With the announcement coming in September when Notre Dame joined the league as a partial member, FSU had less than a year to find a 12th game.
The last time Florida State played a non-conference game the week before playing Florida came in 2006 when the 'Noles took on Western Michigan. FSU won 28-20. Prior to that, FSU played Tulane before a bye week, then UF in 1992.
The ACC is expected to release its conference schedule in January.
