Dent arrested on sexual assault charge
Florida State wide receiver Greg Dent was arrested for sexual assault, and booked in Leon County Jail on Sunday night.
According to his inmate booking information on the Leon County Sherriff's Office's website, Dent was arrested for a violation of Florida Statute 794.011-5, a second degree felony.
The statute: "A person who commits sexual battery upon a person 12 years of age or older, without that person's consent, and in the process thereof does not use physical force and violence likely to cause serious personal injury commits a felony of the second degree."
Dent was booked in Leon County Jail at 9 p.m. and is being held without bond. He is expected to have an arraignment on Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. according to his attorney Tim Jansen. His bond will be set during the hearing.
The arrest was made by the Tallahassee Police Department.
Dent, a Belle Glade, Fla. native and a redshirt senior this fall, caught 27 passes for 355 yards and two touchdowns for Florida State in 2012.

Per university policy, no student-athlete is allowed to participate in athletics while felony charges are pending.
