The good: Henderson is a large athlete with long arms and adequate footwork. After starting only three games prior to his senior season, Henderson made great strides his final year at Florida State. He is a massive blocker who combines great height and bulk with the physical talent to win individual matchups. He displays the footwork to slide on the outside in pass protection and contain speed rushers. When he gets his hands on pass rushers, he displays the ability to stop their charge and hold his ground. As a drive blocker, he has learned to play with better leverage and has developed the ability to sustain his blocks. The bad: He can be slow on the snap and fail to get the initial charge and pop needed to get the movement expected of a blocker his size. He lacks the functional strength necessary to get consistent movement and control the line of scrimmage. He falls off his blocks too easily and needs to work on finishing better. Outlook: He has the physical skills to entice a team to use a second-day pick on him. He is a raw prospect coveted by many teams who hope he lasts until the later rounds. He’s a Top 200 prospect with the potential to earn a starting job after he has made extensive improvement on the basics.
