2005 (Freshman): At Florida State: Contending for playing time at the center position behind incumbent starter David Castillo...earned valuable playing time at the position with the first-team offense because of injuries during the spring of 2005...experience was invaluable to his development and will help him when pre-season camp begins...a big piece of the Seminoles' tremendous recruiting hall of athletic offensive linemen in 2004...performed well in the classroom as was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2004: A redshirt season.

A four-star player by Rivals.com and the No. 11 rated offensive guard in the nation...as a junior, he graded out at 93 % on the offensive line and earned all-area and all-district honors...earned honorable mention all-state for class 3A...named first-team all-state as a senior...has a 300 lb. bench press and can squat 475 lbs...was a member of team Florida in the 2004 California-Florida Bowl played on January 2... older brother, Baraka, plays defensive end for the Miami Hurricanes...picked Florida State over Michigan, Florida, LSU, Iowa and Ohio State.
