2005 (Junior):

At Florida State: A transfer from Tennessee Tech University who will compete for playing time at the cornerback position... enrolled at Florida State during the spring of 2003 and has participated in spring practices in both 2003 and 2004.

2003: A redshirt season after transferring from Tennessee Tech.

At Tennessee Tech: Played in eight games as a running back for the Golden Eagles... gained 59 yards on 23 carries as a running back for 2.6 yards per carry average... also caught three passes and returned one kickoff for 15 yards... scored his first career touchdown against Valparaiso on a four-yard rush during a 62-10 Tennessee Tech victory on Sept. 21.

High School: Graduated from Madison County High School in 2002... played both cornerback and running back as a prep standout... lettered four years in football and track and field and earned all-state honors in both sports... led Madison to a 12-2 record in 2002 as a senior... totaled 89 tackles, six interceptions, and six blocked kicks (four punts and two field goals)... blocked a total of 12 kicks in his final three years as a member of the Madison varsity... competed in the FHSAA weightlifting championships during his senior season... also competed in the long jump and the 110 meter hurdles at the FHSAA track and field championship during his senior season.
