..."I saw a thread where people said Miami would be better than FSU, but we have more first round draft picks over that time frame and had better college players also. Peter Warrick, Deion Sanders, Charlie Ward, Marvin Jones, etc... were better than any UM players at the same time. Below is a list of 1st round draft choices between that time and see if UM can top it. I am willing to bet not. I am sure I will miss some names since I am doing this list off the top of my head.
1. Sanders 2. Dunn 3. Ernie Sims 4. Bunkley 5. Travis Johnson 6. Peter Warrick 7. Javon Walker 8. Jano 9. Cro 10. Buckley 11. Gibson 12. Wadsworth 13. Boulware 14. Wimbley 15. Walter Jones 16. Alex Barron 17. Reynolds 18. Tra Thomas (not sure but think so) 19. Derrick Brooks 20. Marvin Jones 21. LeRoy Butler
I am showing 21 players being first round draft picks so this tops the 18 first rounders that Miami had."
1 question,...are you drunk?
Miami has had more than 21 first rounders THIS MILLENNIUM never mind the last 20 years. Hell, Miami had an NCCA record 20 first round players drafted from 2000-2004 including an NCAA record 6 in one year.
Not just that, we have had double the amount of PRO-BOWLERS than FSU as well.
So no, FSU definitely has NOT had the better talent in the last 20 years.
