Yeeeees Sirrr!!! We have ourselves a football player. Super pumped up 'bout this kid...i only wish he would agree to play defense but he is a stud no matter where you play him. God job Coley, Fisher, and co, the foundation for a 'ship is being layed. |

Yeah I been keeping up with home town ball on the Ft Myers news press blog. I knew Coach Morrell wasn't coaching anymore, and knew you guys werent nearly as strong as you used to be. opefully it will come full circle, and you guys will be contending again soon. I am lost when it comes to all the new district realignments, Moore Haven plays with nothing but christian schools now, no Glades Day like the old days. |

I'm glad you said old school Clewiston bc we are a shell of our former program. Kinda like FSU. I played cb for us in the State Finals in 97-98 my junior year. Since my senior year, ('99) we've only been back to states twice (01 and 06), losing both. I guess it's an honor to be there but there is nothing more devastating than losing the 'ship. I recently went home and caught a game but our athletes don't even look the same anymore; nothing like when Coach Morrell was there. He coached all my uncles, older cousins, and I. We always pop back up in the big one every few so we'll see...I just feel like we were the last of the Mohicans. |

Yeah I agree man, Pahokee, Glades Central, old school Clewiston, hell even Glades Day... they all have great athletes. The QB I Graduated with in 1988 played 4 years at FSU, Lavon Brown. And remember Wayne Moore? He was from Moore Haven and moved to play at Clewiston...he was a beast, but got himself in trouble and didnt go to school. Man was he big, and could run!

Wow, Moore Haven?! I've rarely met people who new about Clewiston but never Moore Haven...that's crazy. We def need to stop slow playing Dent and offer more kats from the Muck. Anyway nice meeting you man, the friends call me Swiss. |
