Is Golden Key International Honour Society worth paying $80 to join. Has anyone received scholarships, internships or jobs because of this organization and their services?

I was part of it in my undergrad, but just another resume item for me. As everything else you get what you put in, and I really just put it on the resume and moved on.

My son was it in at UF. It's a legitimate organization, not one of those who's-who's books that exist just to get money from those in it. There's meetings and functions. He didn't do much of those, but he did play on their intramural coed football team. The girls, he said, were pretty decent. The guys, not so much.
