Damn, you could fit me in your back pack.  I've already posted an ill-advised shirtless pc of myself.  I try to post a more recent pic later this week. 

I'm 5'6" and weigh 164.  My goal weight is 145 with a 28" waist.  I'm starting a nine day "detox" or cleaning program that includes just fruit, veggies and water with protein from beans, lentils and tofu.  I'll then be eating like the Body for Life diet but without all of the once a week cheat days.  Insanity two days a week and weights 3-4 days a week.

This is the clothed version taken right before Christmas.  Not sure you want to see the unclothed right now...

As of last Wednesday I was 6'3" 268 and am now 6'3" 257 (have had the krud so that's just a lot of water weight but hey).  Anyway I started Atkins Tuesday and have stuck with it so far.  Plan is to stay on no to few carbs unil the end of the month then bring in more of the leafy veggies.  I'm a 40" waist now and my goal is to be 225 by 4/01/13 with a 36"/38" waist when we go on our annual honeymoon trip to the beach.  Hurner, I think we're going to Neptune/Atlantic Beach (Sea Horse) this year.  Rest up, bring the wife down, we'll work out a deal...

Currently at 5'11 weighing in at 205. 34 inch waist. Would like to get around 190 and 32 inch waist. 

It's not so much that I feel fat, I just feel out of shape. That is my goal more than anything. I would like to be able to go jogging/running routinely without killing myself. I also plan to do some light weight-lifting routinely.

I highly reccomend "Body for Life" if you want to achieve this. It is a perfect system for people like yourself.

On another note have you ever been check for celiac disease? Could be a number of things but that was preventing clint Trickett from gaining weight also.

Starting out at 5'9" 365.  Been significantly overweight for most of my life.  Really gained a lot after my mom died a couple years ago.  I've lost some already to get where I am now.  More motivated than ever to drop this weight since I'm now with the girl that I want to spend the rest of my life with.  Goal is to be down to 330 or so by the deadline.  Ultimate goal is to be under well under 300 by the end of the year and to be under 200 by the middle of 2015.  Have already changed my eating habits quite a bit and am getting much more exercise than I ever did before.  You're not getting a shirtless pic at any point, but I will throw up a "before pic"

I'm going to do the tough mudder again.  Which means I'll keep snowboarding every weekend, do a few back country hike ins, and in March I'll start really training for it.  It was a ton of fun last year, I'll probably lose about 10lbs when I start training for it.

I'm about 5'10, weigh a little over 180.  Not really looking to drop much weight but need to get back into the gym & hit things a little harder - want to trim my waist a little & get my shoulders/chest a bit bigger.

6'2", 205.  Weight not a problem.  I need to firm up (muscle up) everything.  Other goals:  Run a 12.5 100 yard dash and a 75 second or better 440.  I'm 68.

What is the time frame for this weight loss challenge?  90 Days did I see?  If just 3 months I would like to go from my 5' 11 (that won't change) 220 lbs size 40 waist to 195lb 36 waist.  Eventually 185 34 waist.  I'm working out 3 times a week with a personal trainer and then 2 more times a week on my own mostly cardio starting 1/8.  Don't know how to attach pics but trust me it's all in the gut.

Yes, as is the fad with most diet cycles...we're decided on 90 days.  Obviously, I, as well as others here are hoping to make it a long term change but thats the setup for now.

Good luck to everyone.  Obviously, please feel free to add any tips, ideas, updates.

Say we check in every Monday morning with a status update?

That's awesome!! As someone who has battled weight their entire life (I weighed 165 in the 8th grade) I know how challenging it is and it's a constant battle. At my heaviest I was 210 and would jump between 190 and 210, a few years ago I decided enough was enough and made some major changes in my life. I got down to 141 and then leveled out at about 145. I am currently 147, but I would like to be 135, but after being heavy for so long I am happy at what I am at. I will have to see if I can find a true before pic. Good LUCK!! and you can do it!!
I weighed just around 200 in this picture, in December 2008, I started my life change the following month. This next pic was taken one year ago the day before I ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon.

Not impressed need some sun. Could have inserted SPN's shirtless pic. Lol I'm 5'9". 193 today. Hopefully I can lose at least 10lbs, 20 would be incredible. Maybe grow 3 inches too.

5' 8" - 177.  Put on 11 pounds since mid November.  After the Bowl game tonight, time to get serious.

Ideally would like to get to 162 but haven't been there in a couple of years.

Started lifting with barbells after Christmas day and will continue to ride my bike.  Eat better, fewer simple carbs.   I am also considering a month or two of crossfit in order to learn proper barbell technique.   I would go longer, but its very expensive.

 I have a book that explains lifting in excruciating detail, but a trainer might help too.

I was 248 at the end of Jan 2012. I was 210 on Dec 20. I did this via a modified version of the Paleo diet and zero exercise. I started doing jiu jitsu and then a bunch of circuit/interval stuff to get in better shape for jiu jitsu, and put on weight. I am probably 215 right now. 

Goal weights for 2013

March 31 - 200
July 1 - 190
Oct 1 - 180
BJJ Green Belt by Dec 2013

I'm 5' 7 178, I've gained some weight during football season. I want to get to back to around 165. I stopped lifting weights regularly, I mostly do push-ups, pull-ups, lunges, yoga, cardio, during my workouts now.

Liz, you don't need to lose any weight. You are in great shape my friend. You could run around in a shower and not get wet, haha! Of course a few of JMG's Cheesecake bites can put on a pound or 3, haha!

Worked out hard in the gym last night for the first time in about 9 months; did a much more "active" workout instead of one with a lot of rest/downtime (I'd been mostly just doing a few sets of deadlifts, pushups, pullups).  Decided that this year I'll jump back in time & do a year-long program that ran in Mens Health a number of years ago, "Home-grown Muscle."

I'm sore this morning.

Did the Body for life workout upper 12-12-10-8-6-12-12 last night...Woke up this morning and was like, myeh, not that sore...as the day went on I started feeling agony..tomorrow morning is gonna suck.

Ive been dieting since July of 2011 and have dropped from 285 to as low as 203. I've settled in at 217, but I've revamped my diet and added Tabata training. While I wont be joining this fitness challenge I figured I'd share the site I use to preparemy diet. You're able to put in your desired calories and choose what foods you want to eat. You can also choose the macronutrient breakdown, or use one like paleo or Atkins. Good luck guys
