Couple of pups! MY first was in '74 at Doak against Clemson. I was 9, and I think we lost 17-13 or 14. The thing I most remember was the little rubber footballs they gave out!

93 game against ND. I was 10 at the time. Best game I have ever been to even though we lost.

Gator Bowl vs VT 31-17 I believe! Wasn't til then for my first game due to being stationed away with the military. I was 27!

Posted on 12/5 3:03 PM | IP: Logged

The first game I ever went to was actually the first home game we played in the ACC vs Duke. I don't remember how old I was or the score other than we won off the top of my head.

Posted on 12/5 3:16 PM | IP: Logged

Watched FSU and UM in the early 60's in Miami. I was a kid and don't remember the score. First game as an adult (18) was at UF in 1977 where we rolled 37-9.

Posted on 12/5 3:17 PM | IP: Logged

1992 - Duke

Score was 48-21

I was 18.

1994 Homecoming. Beat Clemson 13-0. I was 18.
Second game was 1996 Florida 3dGrin.

'93 Clemson, dont recall the score but I was 5.

1997 UNC v FSU. FSU dominated the best team UNC has probably ever had. I was 13 and allready die-hard. Nothing has changed for me.

Posted on 12/5 4:28 PM | IP: Logged

1996. Bobby Dodd in the ATL. I was 13 and we were playing Georgia Tech.

I remember it vividly. It is difficult to get to FSU games when you live in Rome, GA, 7 hours from Tally. Also it doesn't help when your father is a UF grad and mother is a UGA grad. But my dad sucked it up, and took me. We ate at the Varsity before the game and I loved it. It was absolutely freezing that night and I was wearing my huge Starter FSU jacket. My dad almost got in a fight with a drunk GT fan b/c he was giving me grief when I was 13! Anyway, we played horribly the 1st quarter. Then, on about the 2nd play of the 2nd, Warrick broke one long for about 75 or so yards. I went crazy. We had to leave early because the guy was being a complete jerk and my dad didn't wanna fight. Anyway, Noles 49, GT 3. I haven't been since, and that sucks, but I will soon. Hopefully in Jax in 2007!

Sorry for all that nostalgia.

1991- Syracuse 46-14.........ten years old

Posted on 12/5 4:31 PM | IP: Logged

FSU vs. Tulsa. I think I was around 10 years old.

I think the final was like 63 or 72 to 21 FSU.

On second thought my first game may have Mississippi St., but I was too young to remember exactly.

Nole72...My first Nole game that I remember was 61...I was 12...we TIED uf 3-3......unfortunately I was raised a gator...my father was a uf grad...and one of the original bullgators....I actually was a gator fan when I first came to FSU as a student...that lasted three months...I was more of a hoops/baseball fan and FSU was light years ahead of uf in those sports in the late 60's when I went to FSU...garduated in 70....

Posted on 12/5 7:16 PM | IP: Logged

'79 vs. UF. The first 3-4 college games I attended were UF games (my father is a UF grad). Somehow I shunned the gators and thankfully became a HARDCORE NOLE forever.

Class of '93 THE FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY!

1968, I was 7 years old. FSU beat Memphis State 20-10. I think that was the score. Anyway, my family went to see Walt Sumner play. He's from our hometown of Ocilla, Ga. My dad was friends with Bill Peterson. I've been a Nole for a loooong time!

orange bowl game against Nebraska 1993. I was 12. My dad got the tickets for me because his business washed the uniforms of both teams.

Posted on 12/5 8:13 PM | IP: Logged

1989 FSU 28-UM 10 6 years old and the best memory of my childhood.

Posted on 12/5 8:14 PM | IP: Logged

1974. Alabama 8, FSU 7.

Bear Bryant was not happy.

First ACC Championship, 21, 27-22...being a 14 point underdog, given no shot to win. More or less making VT look like they belonged back in the Big East! Showing everybody that we run the ACC, for at least one more yr.

For me, it was 1962 and I was 17 years old, a freshman. We played Furman I think it was and won maybe 14-7. Been a huge fan ever since.

96 FSU UF game at Doak. Was with my friends my high school and my two brothers that were at FSU at the time. Well one of em was still there when i got there too! SO MUCH FUN!!!

my first game was Sept 5, 2005- FSU 10 UMuff 7...22yrs old...i've been to 4 games this year Miami, The Citadel, Syracuse, and VTech..all wins.

1980 FSU @ Miami.

We lost 10-9 when Jim Burt knocked down our pass for the 2 point conversion.

FSU had only allowed 7 points through the first three games, and both Miami & FSU were undefeated coming in to the game.

Since I grew up in South Florida, we went to many Miami games in the 1980s. My Dad I cheered for both Miami & FSU because we couldn't stand our Gator neighbor & his stupid fatassed kids. Also, both FSU & Miami played Notre Dame, Ohio State, & Michigan in the 1980s (& won most of those contests).

After Miami began acting like a bunch of street thugs, I became a 100% FSU fan. I still respect Miami's football success, & I still hate the Gators.

1990 against the Gators and Casey Wwldon hit Lawrence Dawsey for a deep TD to start the game!!!!!!! I was nine. We WON 45-30 and the entire DOAK was singin its great to be a Gator Hator!

2nd was the Blockbuster Bowl (the very next game) and of course we beat Penn St.!!!!!! Go Noles

Posted on 12/6 2:55 AM | IP: Logged

I was 9 years old and My dad took me to the FSU Miami game in Miami, i remember FSU won, and when we put the game away I remember a Miami fan behind us took his cup-o-beer and poured it over my head. My dad was mad. Maybe that is where my rage against UF-UM fans comes from.

Posted on 12/6 6:26 AM | IP: Logged

1956 - Athens, GA - Georgia 3 Noles 0 (Although I don't think we were known as Noles back then). Also, I think that was the score, but it has been a while.

Posted on 12/6 9:39 AM | IP: Logged

VT 1977 we won! Balloons lot's of balloons! Remember!

Posted on 12/6 1:17 PM | IP: Logged

11/10/1979 versus South Carolina at the Doak, won 27-7, watched 1980 Heisman Trophy winner George Rogers in that game.
