great homestand. 7-2 rec. saw a little bit of everything during the stretch

now won 5 consecutive series (11-4 record in stretch), hopefully it continues out west before 4 games in 3 days with NY before break

sounds like Clay could be out a while with this internal bleeding/esophagus thing, figures, just no damn luck on this squad this year, lol

Sabathia and Pettite both go down, Jays with 3 starters on long-term DL.  Lots of injuries in the division.

Heard Nava is 4th all-time in OBP through his 1st 100 games.  The other 3 are: Lynn, Williams, and Boggs

Chi Sox have had NOTHING form 3B all year.  I think Youk will do pretty well there.  He'll always supply effort and possibly a change of scenery does him some good.  He had a horrendous start to the year and has done a bit better lately...health remains a concern. I don't think Stewart is in their 2012 plans.  Looking to develop him as a starter in the next 2-3 years.  Lillibridge is handy and not a bad get considering the offers that were out there. 6/25 7:23 PM | IP: Logged
