Should have put the pool in the spot where the tent is. Far more students would have used the pool. Now that it's off campus it's barely used.

The pool off-campus (SW Campus) is used by the athletes it was intended for... There's a pool in the Leach Center for student use that is literally 150 yds from the circus...

Personally I find Rogers, Deviney, and Dorman Halls to much more of an eyesore than the Circus tent...

It is a source of pride. College kids aren't going to go to an outdoor pool at FSU when there are hundreds of pools at beautiful apartment complexes around town with tons of events going on.

More and more campuses are building "resort style" on-campus pools/facilities to make them that much more attractive to help keep their dorms full.

Build a nice one...and the people will come.

UNF built a cool "lazy river" by one of their new dorm complexes:





Add one of the first was UCF's Resort Pool Complex next to their Academic Village Dorms and Rec Center, which hosts parties very every weekend and many times during the week:
