I am not sure I understand your question.
Since the change to the new format, all sigs are automatically resized. They are reduced not stretched.
My sig pic is definitely squashed. It is supposed to look like this:
But how do I get it to keep the same ratio? It's getting squashed horizontally rather than just getting reduced.
The image once it is displayed as your sig is 134 x 125
So in order to keep a perfect picture ratio you would need to resize or crop the image to 268 x 250
