Go for Wand, broke down about 50 feet away from the finish line in the BC, she was the 2nd fav, with Bayakoa a heavy fav.I had a $200 exacta G F W and Bayakoa(I was a pig and didn't box it)I was ready to go cash in on a little over 2k, when all of a sudden she collapsed. Pat Day was the best jockey I ever saw IMO, I was a fan of him since he used to ride almost all the horses for the Ogden Phipps stable and Shug Mcghaughey(great trainer, but didn't run a high volume of horses),top 5 jockeys I ever saw :Pat Day,Mike Smith,Jerry Bailey(although he got the ride for every favorite which kind of made him seem better than he was IMO, even though he was great),Gary Stevens and Chris Mccarron were the best out of the west coast. honorable mention:Jose Santos,Angel Cordero,Laffit Pincay........B Shoemaker was great, but by the time I saw him he was at the end of his career..............Jose santos was almost as sure a thing when riding a front running speed horse for while,as Pat Day was at Keeneland running out of the 1,2,3 post from what you tell me.

Actually, I miss the Canes. They were fun to smack when they were relevant.
We're left only with one rival, the Gators, and like the Canes, they've become largely irrelevant.
We own the state, we own the smack, we own recruiting, we own football, and we have no peer. Eat dung, Canes. Eat dung, Gators.

The NFL disagrees, 8 Canes drafted, 3 Noles drafted .....and Golden Al had a player drafted in the 1st and another in the 2nd from Temple, wow, he either developed a couple 2 stars or is the greatest recruiter in the country and convinced a couple 4 star players to go to Temple.
