Muschamp's 7-6 season a couple of years ago isn't a distant memory you tard. He is just as likely to produce a 6 loss season as he is a 2 loss season based on his on the field performance. This includes close calls with LaMo or I guess you forgot about that missed potential embarrassment.

Fisher is in the same boat. Easy schedule and lost 3-4 games first 2 years. Close calls count now? Sorry he will have the better classes 3 out of 4 years. Had the better class last year, and this year. Not sure about 2014, but think top 10-12. We will be loaded so might be harder to get a top 5 class, but if anyone can Champ can.
Are you saying Fisher has had the better classes last 2 years? 3rd recruiting class for champ so not many players left from Meyer...

Actually FSU is closer to title contention than UF came to beating UL. FSU had a close game with NCSU, a 5 TO day in Tally while UF just got flat out beat and there wasn't anything you could do about it. There wasn't anything special to it. UL didn't 'punch you in the mouth'. It wasn't physical domination by UL. It was just UF didn't get the luxury of +1.5 TO per game they'd had all season to keep the games close in order to snag a few victories.
Up until the UL game UF was (IIRC) +18 in TO ratio good for 2nd in the nation. It was something like a +33 swing from 2011. It's called getting the breaks. In 2011 you didn't get any and in 2012 you got them all except UGA. When it returns to something more normal like +5 the LaMo are going to start pulling off victories.
FTR FSU was -5 in TO ratio and still manged the season. If FSU gets the same TO ratio that UF had, they're in the BCSCG. If UF had FSU's TO ratio they'd have been 6-6 or worse. Never underestimate the power of luck.
Take your delusional and shove it. You're the delusional one if you don't see UF's 2012 campaign for nothing more than luck. You probably think ND had a dominant season as well. As the saying goes, it's better to be lucky than good but more often than not good is the better way to go.

The facts are these. Your team was overrated and not near as good as it's record. FSU, for instance gift wrapped you a win, five turnovers will do it every time against any team, much less one as good as fu. Lousville, showed the world all the warts of this fu team. No qb of note, no wr's worth a damn and if they had been good your sorry azz qb couldn't have hit them if the ball and receiver had magnets. You had no answer for a qb who was accurate and linebackers that couldn't cover. Whoever came up with the game plan should have been fired. It's sole purpose was to cover up your team's shortcomings and it didn't work. Any qb who didn't panic and wasn't under tremendous pressure ate your linebackers and secondary alive and Bridgewater did. Simply put, your coaches were outcoached and embarrassed.
This past fu team could have, and should have, lost four more games but didn't, so you can brag if you like, but if you think you are going to have another gift wrapped, perfect storm of a season again this year you are in for a bit of a shock.You had quite possibly the luckiest year in the history of college football. Every bounce that could have gone your way, did. That won't repeat itself. Hell, you should have lost to the little ooc team. Just another miracle that saved a team that was average at best.
fu doesn't suck as a team, they just aren't worldbeaters, but you keep telling yourself that they are. You lost to Louisville, you played Johnny Football in his first game ever, you should have lost an ooc game, so on and so fourth. Get over yourself. You have a good team, not great.

FSU is certainly closer to championship calibre football than either UF or UF beating UL. UF was overrated and the stats clearly showed it. Maybe you don't like those kinds of 'facts' but they are what they are never the less. UF doesn't have a single player that would be in the two deep during the '08 and '09 seasons. That's how devoid of talent UF is compared to teams that were legit 11-1 regular season teams. Your '12 season was smoke and mirrors. 100th ranked offenses aren't championship calibre teams. By the fact you didn't win any championship and were beaten soundly by an average UL team in the national spotlight proves this. The 'faith' class of Meyer is all but gone and the last two years of Muschamp recruiting have been absent of bodies on the OL, DL (a place freshman can't just step in and make an impact (minus Clowney or the like but UF doesn't have anyone like that)), WR and QB (places that are completely inept as seen on the field of play).

They have no playmakers/WR's on Offense and they lost their only decent RB. They lost their DC too
The gates were very close to not going bowling in 2012. They were a few plays away from being 5-7 instead of a fraud 11-2.
FSU, LSU, TA&M, Vandy, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisville, Georgia all either beat them or should have beat them. They had a golden horseshoe stuck up their butt all season until Louisville exposed them for the dumpster fire they are. They will be even worse next year since they are losing more and more of Urbie's players too.

We will beat FSU with any QB. WE are better at every spot next year. Much better at DE with Fowler, bullard in second year, 4 DT that will play well LB is the only ? we have. DB loaded, Oline which destroyed your dline will be bigger and better might rush for 250 next year.
QB I'll take Drisk over Trick any day. You blew it allready saying you win 7 in a row and lost at home to a team with no QB. Any good O had no problem with your D and you lost Werner, Tank, Jenkins which is all you had.
Your Oline is still very weak against any decent team you play.

Your D didn't destroy our OL until the effects of five turnovers wore them down, not your D. We return four of them and if you check our OL recruiting on signing day, you will piss down your leg. Contrary to what you gates think, our OL recruiting this year is going to be aces. Areal possibility that one or two of them get signifcant playing time, one even a starter.That's how good they will be.
Your qb sucks and Trickett will not be our qb. Your qb wouldn't start for FSU, Miami, or any sec team. Winston or Coker can play circles around that excuse for a qb.
We didn't have Jenkins the entire year and Carradine was done for long before we played fu. Mario Edwards is an all american waiting to happen and Casher will be the other rush end. You remember him, he was the reason Dainty Flower decided if he wanted some playing time, he would have to sign with fu.
Your linebackers can't cover and they aren't much at tackling. We have you beat all to hell at that position. Hands down. Telvin, Christian, and Reggie Northrup form a formidible backer group. Throw in Karlos Williams who they are moving to lb and we are set. You might want to check out who we are bringing in in this class, also. I predict Mathew Thomas will be in that group and while he won't start for us, he easily would for fu and that sorry group.
We have you at rb, the only one you had is gone and the rest isn't worth talking about. We will have a freshman better than any you have right now.
Your db's are a very solid group and your class this year will make them better. They all are outstanding. Wish we had three of them.
I'd say you will win 8 games, possibly nine. but to do that you will have to beat UM and us and I don't see both of them happening. UM isn't anything to laugh at. They aren't us, but they won't be a pushover. That football doesn't always give a team the lucky bounces you got this year.
Tell us what you are going to do for a qb if Driskel goes down. He is a nobody himself, but if he goes, you have a double nobody to replace him. You're running on empty at the qb spot and even you know that if you don't have a qb worth a damn, you basically have no offense. Your defense is good, but not good enough to absorb a blow like that.

First off I doubt Trickett is our QB! Winston FTW! We have talent all over the place and only Bama is on our level due to our previous #1 and #2 classes. Those kids are Juniors and Sophomores by 2013 and ready to crush. FU might beat Mizzou and Tennessee but no chance vs FSU or any SEC team with a pulse.

You lost your best one in Watson. Check out our Oline recruits. Moore is one of top 3 Oline if he was in this class maybe better and he will be a soph. Garcia a Junior, Brown JC will all help out next year , don't have to wait 2-3 years before they play. Johnson is as good as any one you have left.
I would love it if you had 2-3 freshman starting on oline, you will get killed. I'll wait to see how he does in second year with some WR coming in before i write off the QB. You have no idea how any of your young linemen will play. We also have 2 studs that did play as freshman and they are going to be bigger and better this year. Fowler will be an AA by junior year. Casher could not play even with your injuries if he did don't remember his name called against us.
Fisher had the 2nd ranked class first year, then the 6th ranked class second year and might not see top 10 this year. Look where we are ranked... We can win as we proved with no QB,you could not beat us with a first round QB. We are just much tougher than FSU and always will be with Champ.
Man you are are falling fast. We might have to put WF on schedule instead of FSU so are SOS does not fall too much.

Our D was on the field every game too much but we are in shape.WE got tired last year or we win that game. That was easy to say. Punt return fumbles are the only reason you won that game.

I just saw these comments stating Louisville will own the ACC. That is as rediculous as thinking that Texas A+M would be one of the 3 or 4 best teams in the Big 12 if they were still in the conference. Texas A+M sucks and has been the UNC (finishing right in the middle of the conference year after year) until they took the easy road and joined a confence with 1 good team and 13 mediocre/bad teams.
