Highly doubt it, even though I wouldn't object.  I'm all in on Jeremy Pruitt from Alabama, myself.

Diaz isn't my first choice although he isn't that bad, he and Harsin both want out of Texas due to Brown and his failure to keep the program on track, same reason Muschamp left. Harsin has bailed also, very good OC and he took the head coaching job at arky state. There is some question however if Diaz is the answer to the proliferating spread offenses.

Pruitt was in high school a few years ago and has only coached defensive backs for Saban. It is a real gamble if Fisher hires someone like this. It could get fired down the line. My first choices are Geoff Collins of Miss State and Shoop at Vandy. He does very well with less talent than FSU has.

Ty.  I know if you got the talent, almost no matter who the coach is so long as he holds players accountable, your plan can be successful.
 In Ex: A&M D making bama PASS on the goal line, GT leading nation almost every year in rushing with the 'so called' SEC smashmouth boys not really even close to em, and lets not forget that LITTLE La school that skeered da chit out of the turds!!

Excellent recruiting skills in the Miami area.  (His Daddy was Mayor down there)

Did a good job with Middle Tenn State and Mississippi St before going to Texas.  He's more qualified than Pruitt.

Coaching DB's at Bama is like saying Craig coaches the QB's at FSU.  Fisher coaches those QB's here...and Saban coaches the DB's at Bama.

Gran left, coached ST. Stoops left, DC, coached DBs. Diaz fits the bill in all three areas, but with heavy workload. 

Might also be noted that Dameyune Craig coached ST when he was with the Dolphins.

I bet our new DC will be Jeremy Pruitt.

There are several High School defensive coordinators in the Jacksonville area who are considering the job, but you shouldn't hold your breath.

We won't. Jacksonville is gate country so they shouldn't hold their breath either.

Homie, I had an uncle who taught school in Jacksonville. He's been retired several years. He's on my mother's side of the family so don't try to look him up by my last name. Seriously, you might have have known him, he has a rather unique last name. Next time I talk to you remind me and I will tell you his name. You wouldn't care except you would just love to find out if he was a gator.
